What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
So I’m 34 years old and I have been dog and cat sitting before,So I’ve been on and off doing it for 22 years
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy spending time with others and their pets, I love being able to meet new cats and kittens and see their personalities ! Because every animal has a different personality!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I would love to ! But I haven’t had one yet. But I am very excited to be able to work with each individual, And their fur babies!!!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Willow is Grey and white and was syringe fed. Lucky is part Maine coon and was very sick when I got him. River is brown and is a little purr box. Friends is black and white and loves cuddling. Boots is black and white and is a little shy. Peaches was abandoned on the highway inside a cat carrier and is just starting to eat solid food. Midnight is solid black little sweetie pie!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Pick the one that speaks to your heart. Each one of us has a special place in our hearts for cats. You have to make sure you feel comfortable to have that person in your home. Meet with the potential sitter see how they adapt to your fur babies.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
As a cat parent myself, I love getting daily updates on my pet. That’s why I have cameras that I can see with my pets, but even if I’m working and someone’s home, I’m always like oh can you go check on my babies and make sure they’re OK , even though I have cameras I still want pictures and videos and just to know that they’re OK. lol
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I always double check at the door. Make sure there’s no cats at the door before I open the door, I always make sure that the windows are shut. I’m very persistent with checking every single thing making sure all the stove eyes are off making sure there’s nothing that the cat can get into
Are you usually available during holidays?
Any days, except Christmas Day. Will give a notice if I can’t do a day. But I’m pretty flexible. :)
What is your favorite cat toy?
I love the crinkly toys and the springs! My cats die over these. I bought them 60 springs. Don’t ask me where they all are lol
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
You have to be so patient. I had a cat that was so scared. I kept feeding,Playing with toys. And sitting on the floor talking to her. I would pick her up and love on her and tell her she’s safe and she doesn’t have to worry.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
