What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve casually cat sat for years and began full-time cat sitting about six months ago. I’ve cared for sick kittens, seniors, and cats needing medication, special diets, or extra patience.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love hanging out with other kitties and being able to love on them while their parents are away. My own cat passed away a few months ago and I’m not ready for my own but I love giving the love I have for cats to other fur babies!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat sitting reservation so far has been with Ollie and Petty they’re the first cats I’ve met that actually love playing with a laser pointer toy! It’s so cute! And Ollie is super cuddly. Petty has her boundaries and just likes to be present but not touched.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I used to have a cat named Scar. He found me and walked right into my house and into my heart. Unfortunately he’s no longer with me, only in my heart.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to arrange a meet and greet with the pet parent and myself. Of course the kitty also! I ask questions ranging from their habits, feeding schedules, playtime preferences, cuddle tolerance, and any medications or allergies they may have. Each meet and greet will have different questions from me depending on what special needs each cat has. I like to ask as many questions as possible to create a consistent environment for kitties so they are well taken care of while their pet parents are away!

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I follow all care instructions closely, double-check doors and windows, monitor behavior for baselines and changes, and keep the home clean, secure, and locked at all times during and after each visit.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I’m available during holidays! My family has been used to the customer service world for years so we celebrate holidays off schedule.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I’m old school, I like the classic feather toy attached to the stick where I can run around with them!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I make sure to move slowly, speak softly, and let them approach on their own terms. I give them space and build trust through consistency and gentle, respectful interaction.

Jenna was wonderful!!! I was apprehensive as this was the first time using a service and having a "stranger" take care of my baby. Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
