My passion for cat care is deeply personal. For five wonderful years, I was the proud parent of Onion, a beautiful cat who defied all veterinary odds by battling a rare form of IMHA ever since he was just a year old (a true 4-year miracle!)
Through caring for my sweet Onion, I mastered administering pill and liquid medications, ointments, and transdermal treatments, while developing a sharp, intuitive eye for even the subtlest behavioral changes. Plus, you will never have to worry about anything in my environment making your cat sick (such as perfumes, dirt, or dust). Whenever I traveled, I used to stare at my pet camera all day long because I missed him so much! I will make sure you receive plenty of photos and check-ins so you know your baby is feeling safe, loved, and having a fun time!
My 4 years of pet sitting experience span from playful kittens and adults to sweet seniors and cats with complex medical needs. I am also comfortable with multi cats, cats with dogs, and cats with other animals forms of family. So please reach out if you need someone to take care of your multi-animal household!
📍A little more about me:
I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle and recently moved to Tennessee to prepare for vet school. By day, I work in Spring Hill as an investment management specialist, and in my free time, you can usually find me studying for vet school or building something for my hamster or fish tanks. My absolute favorite thing about cats? I love that they have boundaries and teach us how to earn their trust! They are so unique and the love you receive from them once they trust you absolutely is the best feeling ever.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Since 2022, I have petsat for family, friends, roommates, and coworkers. My experience covers kittens, adults, seniors, and medical-needs cats. Though they all had different breeds and personalities, I ensured every single one felt safe, loved, and cared for.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I once petsat my roommate’s senior cat, Viktor, a large and chatty Maine Coon mix. He wasn't particularly cuddly at first, but by giving him space and quietly hanging out in the same room, I slowly gained his trust. The moment he finally chose to sleep next to my feet was incredibly rewarding. I still vividly remember his grumpy meows and heavy steps and it remains as my absolute favorite petsitting experience.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Not anymore, but I had a cat named Onion that I loved with my whole heart. He was a grey tabby cat and was loved for 5 years until a disease called IMHA ended our time together. He was so brave fighting against IMHA and actually survived for 4 years after the diagnosis, which is a miracle in IMHA patients. I am so proud of him and will forever love him. His journey inspired me to pursue a career as a vet, and my ultimate goal is to spread awareness of IMHA and share his story as hope for many pet parents.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am available during weekends and most major holidays, including Thanksgiving and the Christmas season. On weekdays, I work in Spring Hill from 8 AM to 5 PM, but I am open for bookings outside of those hours!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to give them time. Although I love greeting new cats, it is important to acknowledge their anxiety and give them as much time and space as they need. I make sure to move gently and keep noise to a minimum. Then, I simply sit near them without giving too much direct attention, allowing them the option to approach me when they feel ready. This approach has always worked wonderfully for me and the cats in my care!

I cannot recommend Soy enough! I was pretty anxious about leaving my cat while I was out of town for an extended period, but she made the entire experience so much easier. She sent tons of pictures, videos, and thoughtful updates every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was so clear that she genuinely cared about my cat, and I felt completely comfortable knowing she was taking such good care of her. She even went above and beyond when bad weather was expected, offering to help prepare my home and bringing things inside from my balcony. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to me! I’m incredibly grateful for the care she provided and would absolutely book with her again!

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Franklin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
