Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 4 cats of my own. Marley is a calico and is the sweetest baby but is starting to go deaf and has asthma . Gretel is a peaches and cream tabby, she’s timid but loves to be pet and loves belly rubs. Fidget is a black cat and is very shy and doesn’t like being messed with unless you have treats. Lastly is Myla a orange tabby, she is spunky and loves to play with our husky!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to have a meet and greet first, always! Cats are very particular and sensitive to energies and new people so it’s good to see how the cat(s) will be around a new person. I like to take my time and get to know the owner as well as the fur babies and their routines and quirks.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I like to learn the cats hiding spots beforehand so I know where to look first when they aren’t hanging out in the open. I always make sure the doors are tightly secured and shut so no wondering kitties escape!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I like to approach timid/anxious cats with causation and patience! They usually warm up, they just need to feel the vibes first and that’s ok!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
