I will spend quality time with them ensuring that they will not be stressed out about anything. I will follow all of your feeding instructions and also make sure their litter boxes are clean every day. They will be well taken care of in your absence.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been providing professional cat care to my clients for over a decade. I have a lot of clients that refer me to others because they know that I take caring for their cats seriously.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Learning about each cats personalities, likes and dislikes. I love petting them and watching them play and talking to them. Cats are the best pets ever.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I have 3 cat boys in Galveston that I have the privilege of pet sitting for. When they hear me at their door they come running over to me like I am their long lost best friend. It makes me feel so very loved.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Pumpkin is her name and she is my little princess....she rules the house and she loves to harass my two German shepherds on a regular basis. She is totally an indoor cat
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Just make sure that they understand cats and how they operate. Your cat needs to be comfortable around the person that you hire.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to come over and find out what their normal schedule is for their pets. I like to go over any details with them to ensure I can give their furbabies the best care possible
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I am extremely careful when opening any outside doors. I have had a few escape artists in my lifetime so I am very very careful.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am available on all holidays since that is usually my busy time caring for pets. I do not have children so my pets are my children
What is your favorite cat toy?
I enjoy the cat toys that are on a string so I can give the kitties exercise. They are so much fun to play with and watch while they jump and hunt the toy
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I speak in a calm and sweet voice. I will sit on the couch or chair and stay still so the cat feels safe coming over to check me out.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Alvin cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $20.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
