What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Cats bring me joy! I enjoy making sure they get all the attention and care while their owners are away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have a 5 cats! Ava and Bree are 15 year old sisters, Leo is a 6 year old and 20 pound main-coon, and Linus and Lucy are a kitten sibling pair.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I provide a complimentary meet and greet before taking care of your feline family members. I love the opportunity to chat face-to-face or over the phone to ensure the best quality care.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

While cat sitting, I follow feeding and litter box routines closely, provide fresh water daily, and maintain a calm environment. I keep a close eye on your cat for any signs of stress or illness, and always ensure indoor cats stay safely indoors. If anything unusual arises, I will contact you right away. My priority is to keep your cat safe, comfortable, and well-cared for during my time as your pet sitter.

Are you usually available during holidays?

It depends on the holiday, but I am usually in town for some holidays. Please check my schedule, and if I am available, I'll be happy to help!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

My two senior cats can be very timid around visitors, so I understand that some cats need more time to warm up and feel safe. It’s important to approach slowly and calmly, letting the cat come to you. I speak softly, keep noise and movement minimal, and never force interaction. I may offer treats, sit at their level, and give them safe hiding spots.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
