I’ve been caring for cats for a few years now, and most of my experience comes from regularly looking after cats for people in my life who trust me with their pets. I’ve gotten comfortable with different personalities — from social, playful cats to more reserved ones — and I’ve handled everything from daily feeding and litter care to giving them companionship while their owners are away. Over time, I’ve learned how to read their behavior, keep routines consistent, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. It’s been a natural and enjoyable part of my life, and I’m excited to offer that same dependable care to others.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to connect with each cat’s unique personality. Knowing that my visit means a lot to them also brings me joy because they know they can count on me so they are not alone while their people are away.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

When caring for timid or anxious cats, I keep things calm and gentle. I move slowly, use a soft voice, and let them approach me when they’re ready. I watch their body language, offer treats or familiar items for comfort, and never rush the process. Patience and consistency help them feel safe and start to trust me.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
