I’m an incoming medical student, and I’m naturally patient, detail-oriented, and dependable. I know that every cat has their own routine and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know each one and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away... Hi! I’m Parmida. I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and grew up in a home with two cats and a dog, so caring for animals has always been part of my daily life. I currently have my own cat, Mamas, who I’ve cared for over six years. In addition to pet sitting, I volunteer with local cat shelters, where I’ve had the opportunity to care for cats with all kinds of personalities—from playful kittens to shy rescues and senior cats.

I know that every cat has their own routine and comfort level, so I take the time to get to know each one and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether your cat wants to play, cuddle, or simply have a calm, familiar presence around, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at.
During each visit, I’ll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter box, enrichment and playtime if they’re interested, and plenty of attention. I’m also comfortable administering oral medications and always keep an eye on their appetite, behavior, and overall well-being. You’ll receive thoughtful updates along with plenty of photos and videos after every visit, so you can feel confident knowing exactly how your cat is doing.
I know how much trust it takes to leave your cat in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care that helps your cat feel comfortable and gives you peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your feline family!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I would look for someone who understands that every cat is different. A good sitter doesn’t just complete a checklist—they take the time to learn your cat’s personality, respect their boundaries, and notice changes in their behavior or routine. Clear communication, reliability, and consistency are just as important as experience because they help both you and your cat feel at ease.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Before the first visit, I like to learn as much as I can about your cat’s routine, personality, favorite toys, feeding schedule, hiding spots, and any medical or behavioral needs. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. After each visit, I’ll send detailed updates along with photos and videos so you always know how your cat is doing.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I always let the cat set the pace. Some cats are social right away, while others need a little more time to feel comfortable—just like my own cat, Mamas. I never force interaction and instead focus on creating a calm, predictable environment where they can approach me when they’re ready. Whether that means playing with their favorite toy, offering treats (if approved by you), or simply sitting quietly nearby studying, I’m happy to meet each cat where they are and earn their trust at their own pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
