What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to do a meet and greet with all new clients so that they have a chance to get to know me, I get to know them and their cats. I then use the time to go over the cats’ routines and care. Meet and greets are usually 30 minutes to a hour, some have listed 15 minutes!

Are you usually available during holidays?

I work all holidays. I am also available most weekends. The only time I am not available overnight is if I have an existing obligation.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Cats always need their space! Especially their hiding spaces. On the longer visits I will stay in the home and just play games on my phone or tablet and eventually your kitty will want to come out and see me. I get all excited just seeing your cats! I reflect a positive energy and inviting one to make them want to come back for more. Eventually they will want to follow me around the house or at least meow when they need affection or something from me. I may also offer catnip or treats to your cat if they consistently hide to help them get comfortable with me and tell them I am caring for them.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
