How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I’m very familiar with kitties who consider themselves escape artists. I always always check the doorway as I enter and exit, putting my foot in front of the open gap, and keeping my hands free in case anyone tries to sneak out. Once inside, I don’t leave anything sharp or breakable where a cat could get to it. I also like to do a headcount before I leave to make sure I know where everyone is, and I double check that doors are locked on my way in and on my way out.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I tend not to travel during holiday seasons, opting for visiting family when airports are less busy, so I’m typically available over holidays!

What is your favorite cat toy?

Definitely a cat teaser wand 😁

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

One of my kitties is very anxious, so I have a lot of experience in this area! When meeting anxious cats I like to stay calm and quiet, taking care to not make any loud sounds or sudden movements. I’ll look to see where they’re hanging out, and I’ll sit close by. I’ll reach out my arm, letting them choose to close the gap if they want to sniff. Depending on how timid the cat is, sometimes they’ll come closer for me to pet them and sometimes it takes minutes for them to peek out. But I wait patiently and quietly, letting them stay in control.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
