I also volunteer at a local cat sanctuary to help with their resident kitties... So far I have shared the love of 9 of my own little four pawed angels in my life. I have been a cat parent for over three decades and have done it all from scratching post training and learning to speak feline to daily insulin injections and medications. My friends call me the cat whisperer and I have learned to pick up on the subtle, secretive language that our feline friends use when they aren't feeling at their best :(
I also volunteer at a local cat sanctuary to help with their resident kitties.
I am an engineer by training and often work remotely at my day job, which gives me the flexibility to take care of your pawsitively precious child while you are busy. Nothing is too good for our babies and I have experience in both keeping them out of places they shouldn't be when they are acting rambunctious as well as helping my own kitties with accessibility such as building ramps to get onto furniture as their joints age and become less agile.
I usually have open availability and prefer north Austin / Round Rock areas.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I just joined meowtel. I have sat for my friends' kitties over the years including an orange diabetic little furbaby. I also volunteer at a cat sanctuary, not sitting per se but task oriented to help take care of the babies.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Thorough communication with the owner. If anything I ask too many questions, and tend to triple check every detail as I put the little angels above myself to make sure that they are taken care of.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I stay on town and don't typically have plans, there's not really that much more to say about that.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
