I love learning about your cat’s favorite foods, treats, nap spots, water preferences (filtered or tap), litter box routines, and—just as importantly—their dislikes. My goal is to care for your cat exactly the way you do, so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away... Rescue-experienced cat caregiver who meets every cat at their own pace. Available for late afternoon, evening, and weekend visits.

I am a foster with Houston Pets Alive! and a volunteer transporter for Imagine Home, helping cats safely reach their destination for adoption. Rescue work is very close to my heart.
My husband and I share our home with four cats—two proud foster fails who are basically toddlers. Our tortie was flown to us from Orlando, and our gray-and-white kitty was found hiding inside a truck. Every one of them has a story, and I could talk about them forever (but I’ll spare you… for now 😉).
My professional background is in pharmacy, which has shaped my attention to detail, reliability, and respect for routines. I’m excited to work in a role that truly fuels my passion for cats, and it would be a privilege to care for your cat baby while you’re away.
I provide calm, unhurried visits focused on your cat’s comfort, routine, and safety. I follow your instructions closely, communicate clearly during each visit, and adjust to your cat’s personality and pace. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your cat.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! Siamese-Opal Tuxedo-Ruby Jack Tortie-Mazie Grey/White-Dasher Opal and Ruby are my toddlers. They've my double trouble. Mazie is my "hunter". She loves to watch birds on TV. Dasher is my baby. He is attached at my hip.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I want to make them comfortable. I understand it's a lot trusting a new person with their cat baby. I also want to ease any guilt about leaving their cat baby. For me, there's no such thing as too much information. I want to know the best way to communicate updates and if they prefer pictures/videos or both! I make myself readily available for any questions they have.
What is your favorite cat toy?
The little springs. They're great for sliding and chasing. My two Littles love to play fetch with the springs. Plus, the springs can easily fit under doors. There can be a cat on either side batting it back and forth.

absolutely amazing experience!! it was our first time in almost 10 years taking a vacation and I was a nervous wreck about our very shy cat. Jéssica was extremely communicative, took really detailed notes about all the weird quirks/routines we have with our cat, and helped put my mind at ease the entire weekend letting me know all the details I usually check for in my routine with the cat~. She took amazing care of our girl, and I’m so impressed that she was able to get her to even be visible for photos and eat a treat! (she’s veryyyy skittish around strangers). Will definitely be reaching out next time we need to go somewhere, I feel completely safe knowing she’s in her hands 🥰

Jessica did an amazing job! My partner and I have 9 cats and few of them are hesitant with new people but from the wonderful daily photos she sent, I could see that some of our more timid ones warmed up to her in a matter of a day or two! Consistant daily updates. I’d trust her to come back again and again. 100/10 would recommend!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Spring cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
