I have experience administering medication to cats and dogs. I recently got the privilege to raise 2 three-day-old kittens to the age of 2 months and find an adoptive family for them. It taught me that nothing is impossible if you have the love and the right mindset to achieve it.
I also have over 14 years of experience caring for wild animals, including bobcats, lynx, lemurs and servals, through volunteering at In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Education Center in Wylie, TX.

We have two special needs cats with very specific feeding and medical care instructions. Kate sent us multiple photos and videos on each visit to let us know our cats were getting the care they needed. She gave us peace of mind about our cats while we were on vacation. Kate was awesome! We just moved to DFW in the fall, and I do not know anyone here. I was pretty nervous going out of town for the first time being in a new area and with two senior cats. Both of my cats require medication every 12 hours. One cat who requires insulin shots is very timid and scared. He can take years to warm up to someone, but he had no problem warming up to Kate during her first visit alone. She kept in contact during each visit and sent lots of photos and videos. She really put my anxieties at ease. I will be booking with her again!

Kate was such a great cat sitter, she really took the time to make sure our cat was taken care of. She was very communicative and included lots of photos which gave us peace of mind while we were away. She played with him, cleaned up after him, and was even able to administer medicines to him! Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
