Iāve been around cats basically my whole life, and I could never imagine my life without them. They are truly perfect and make my life so full. I get that every cat is completely different... Hi, Iām Robin! I have two cats of my own: Violet, my 11-year-old princess who has never done anything wrong, and Rey, my 9-year-old gremlin who follows me around the house talking away. Cats have just always been my people and are the biggest bringer of joy to my life!!
Iāve been around cats basically my whole life, and I could never imagine my life without them. They are truly perfect and make my life so full. I get that every cat is completely different. Some want to be your best friend immediately and some need to define that on their own terms. Iām totally fine either way, and I have a lot of patience and experience with the shy and anxious babies. My baby Violet is a very shy girl.
When I visit, Iām not just checking off boxes. Iāll stick to your catās routine, follow your instructions to the T, and actually hang out with them (if they want me to). Youāll get photos and updates every visit so you know your baby is doing well.
Basicallyā¦. Iāll treat your cat exactly the way Iād want someone to treat Violet and Rey. They deserve nothing less!

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Making new friends! I truly love cats more than anything, so the opportunity to have way more exposure to many more cats sounds like a dream to me. Little besties everywhere.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes!!!! Violet and Rey. The 2 absolutely loves of my life. Violet is 11 and Rey is 9. I have been with them since they were each 8 weeks old. They bring absolute sunshine to every rainy day.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Make sure you trust them! I know it can be so hard to leave your babies, and making sure the person you are leaving them with is trustworthy is the hardest part. Set clear expectations with your sitter and make sure they execute on them. Your peace of mind is so important!!

Robin is a great cat sitter because sheās a true cat lady. I have an elderly cat who has a lot of steps in her routine (probiotics, medications, treats, etc.) and robin not only is up for the task but sends photo updates and monitors her eating. Robin also recommended adding water to my cats wet food every time she gets fed to increase her water intake and it has been amazing! If youāre looking for someone you can trust to take cake of your babies - I canāt recommend Robin enough.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
