What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Every cat has his or her own uniquely wonderful personality, and I just love the opportunity to meet new kitties and discover more about who they are! I also enjoy giving people the reassurance that while they are away, their fur babies are in great hands.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I ensure that any off-limit areas are always secure (closed doors, etc.) and that there are no objects left about that could be potentially hazardous to cats. I’m very aware of my surroundings and make sure doors and windows are locked, any alarms the home may have are set prior to leaving, and that the kitties have everything they need to be safe and content.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Catnip toys seem to be universally popular! I also think laser pointers make for a great playtime session. It’s exciting for the kitty and encourages some healthy exercise as well!

Jordan was awesome! She gave great updates and left everything incredibly neat and clean. She handled my cat’s nightly medication and even gave me a heads up when she may sensed a behavior change. She was also great and patient with my spicy calico. Will definitely use Jordan again.

Jordan was so, so, so incredible when we were away for an extended trip. she came over once a day and gave snacks and treats to our cat, took care of everything, and sent phenomenal videos, photos, and text updates at each visit. she even went above and beyond and cleaned up a mess from a hairball. truly exemplary cat sitting and our cat could not have been in better hands while we were away.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
