Mary did a great job watching my cat! She was very responsive, took note of everything my cat needed, and sent me lots of photos and videos.

My cat loves having people around, and over the last year has had trouble eating regularly, especially when I go out of town. I just went on my longest trip ever and was really worried. Mary was amazing. My cat loved her right away, and Mary sent me multiple videos and pictures every day. It was such a relief seeing my kitty so happy and knowing she was in good hands. Mary was very attentive to our special needs boys, making sure they got their medicines at breakfast and dinner. She made sure to ease things in so they could warm up to her and kept us informed of every visit!

My two can be tricky, as both can be fussy about food and one can be difficult with medication, but Mary handled it all with care and patience. I love working with Mary. Most importantly my shy cat Henry does too. We’ve worked with Mary for several trips now, long and short. She is detail oriented and so patient with Henry the cat. If I asked her about the detail of something once (bits of fluff fur laying around) she’s never forgotten to keep me updated about them on every visit since! I have lots of particulars for Henry, as I’m sure all cat parents have, and she’s patient and respectful of each one of them. Henry is a tough cookie to win over but she does it each time!

Mary had been highly reliable each time we have booked a reservation with her. She has also been very responsive and comprehensive in daily updates, with abundant pictures and videos. Much appreciated and will continue to book Mary whenever possible for our needs.

Mary was excellent with Henry the cat and with me as the anxious-about-leaving-Henry- human. Henry can be standoffish with anyone new or anyone that’s not me and Mary was super respectful of his space and earned his trust by giving him his private space while also maintaining his routine. She used all the phrases he’s used to hearing, she gave him treats at his preferred time and tossed them for him just like I do. She always offered to play with him and even let him stop to drink and was ready to play again when he was ready to go, just like I do. Mary sent me tons of details just like I prefer. Whenever I need to leave for a trip I feel lots better knowing Mary is here for Henry!

Mary was very responsive throughout the process. we were glad to have a chance to meet with her ahead of time and with her attention to our cat's needs. she even went the extra mile by reading aloud in an attempt to lure out our seriously shy kitty. alas, the strategy did not work, but it well reflects her great care and understanding of kitties.

Mary did an amazing job looking after my two cats. She gave them their medications and ensured they ate all their food. She provided me with updates and photos of my cats. She went above and beyond when a fire alarm went off in the building. We weren't getting any information on whether this alarm was real so she took my cats out of the apartment and had then safely secured outside until it was confirmed there was no danger. When I returned, my cats looked great (one of them even gained some weight back after having lost some due to illness). I will definitely book with her again.

Mary did a good job at being patient with both my cat and me for our first meet and greet and our first visits. My cat became used to his first Meowtel cat sitter that we used for a year before she moved out of our area, so I knew Mary had an uphill battle ahead earning his trust and learning all of our particular preferences! She was flexible with her approach and adjusted based on Henry’s (the cat’s) feedback. Every cat parent and every cat is unique, so it’s important to have a flexible and knowledgeable cat sitter. Mary can read cat body language and responded well to my comments about my preferred ways to feed my cat treats and how to speak to my cat (or when to give him space). She recognized, for example, when my cat wanted to sniff the water bottle he was getting his water from, even though I forgot to tell her he likes that. I love that Mary’s schedule is so flexible, I think some visits I might end up asking her to come 3x a day, just because she can!

Mary was perfect for our two kitties. They were thrilled to greet her for treats every day and we greatly enjoyed the many photos and thorough updates!
