- I am very patient with cats, and I tolerate just about everything they like to do to upset their caretaker... Hello! I'm Chloe and ever since I was a baby, I've always been around and loved cats. In fact, my family's first cat even protected me when I was still in my mom's belly.

- I have 2 special needs cats at home! Their names are Artemis and Eris and I love them both dearly! They are both around 10 ish years old and were both rescued from poor conditions. Artemis has neurological damage and needs to be soothed and held when she gets anxious. Eris has an autoimmune disorder and we had to give her medicine regularly when she was a kitten, but she does much better now. Because of this, I am experienced with cats that have special needs or need to take medicine.
- I am always eager to learn more about cats and understanding them, and I am a fast learner when it comes to animal care, because its something I am very passionate about and interested in.
- I am very attentive to cats needs! My cat Artemis is very needy and cries loudly when she is upset, so I am used to cats that need just a bit more attention than usual, or need to be comforted when something upsets them.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Making memories and getting to meet new cats with different personalities! For me, no matter how many cats I've met, I never stop getting excited to meet new cats!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I check on the cats regularly, roughly every 15-30 minutes if I'm not in the same room as them. I also listen out for any hissing/upset sounds or sounds of vomiting.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I handle cats that are very shy by giving them space and gently letting them know that I wont harm them. I also try to be especially patient with shy cats and I give them time to come out of their shell.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
