What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to connect with each cat’s personality. I love helping shy cats gain confidence, keeping playful cats entertained, and making cuddly cats feel safe and loved. It’s so rewarding to provide comfort and companionship while their humans are away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have two wonderful cats who are the absolute treasures of my life. Chloe is a 2-year-old tabby with the spunkiest personality. She is endlessly curious and fearless, always exploring everything around her. Marco, also 2, is a boy tabby who is a little more timid and takes his time to feel comfortable. Watching Chloe look out for Marco and protect him has been so sweet and funny. Having them has taught me patience, how to read a cat’s cues, and how to adjust care to fit each personality, which is exactly how I approach every cat I sit.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have experience caring for cats that are more timid or anxious, like my own cat Marco. I always let shy cats set the pace and never force interaction. I use a calm voice and slow movements, often sitting quietly at their level so they can approach me when they feel ready. I also use treats, gentle play, or soft petting to build trust, but only when the cat shows interest. Being patient and consistent is key, and I’ve learned from Marco how rewarding it is to see a timid cat grow more confident over time.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
