If you choose me to be your cat sitter, I would want to have a m... Hello! My name is Ambriel Clements. To begin, I've got 2 cats of my own, Cecil and Tigger. Cecil has a very strict diet due to his sensitive stomach. I've also had plenty of experience trimming nails, bathing, and giving medications. I have not given any injections. My cat's are both sweet babies to me, so I understand wanting the best for them and to find a sitter that you know will treat them PURRFECTLY!
If you choose me to be your cat sitter, I would want to have a meet and greet first to discuss behavior, feeding schedules, medicine schedules, and anything extra. I would want to see where all the supplies are and litter boxes and scoopers are. Then I would want to play with your kitty to see how they act and get some cuddles in as well!!! If they don't really like people that's okay too. I'll sit there quietly and they can come out if they want. I would also be happy to meet you and become a good asset to you and your kitties lives!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
My favorite reservation was with a little kitten named Bandit. He was very adorable and I loved getting to learn about his quirks. He loved to hang out on shoulders and you had to give him a slow feeder because he would eat so fast his hind legs would rise!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I ensure that foods that are toxic to cats cannot be accessed, rooms are closed off if owners do not want them in those rooms or if they pose a specific hazard to the cats. Or if there are other animals in the home and it is required for the cat to stay separate. I would also make sure to be wary when entering and exiting the homes so that there are no escapes :)
Are you usually available during holidays?
I'm usually available to come check on your animals, I just cannot stay the entire day or overnight because I would be at my own family gatherings or full time job events.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
