What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

Over the years, I've lovingly watched my Friends' and family's cats, and now I'm excited to offer professional cat sitting.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy most? Honestly - everything! The drama, the cuddles, the zoomies, and even the paw fuzz. Each cat's personality is its own little world, and I love being part of it.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my favorite sits with a dramatic, high energy cat who could play for hours. I learned her moods, what were her favorite toys, kept her entertained, and even dressed her in cozy sweaters to help her relax - we bonded instantly.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two kitties: LuvMuffin, a dramatic & Moody long hair domestic Nebelung mix who thinks she's royalty, and Willow my little drama free senior tabby. Along with Scout, their beagle brother, they are my world, my children, my family.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Make sure your sitter loves kitties as much as u do. To me, this isn't just a job, it's a calling. Look for someone that isn't just in it for the money. They should have a passion & special place in their heart specifically for kitties. That's how u find the best care.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

Tell me 5 interesting things about your kitty, introduce me, show me how u feed, play with, clean up after and in general interact with your little fur baby. Walk me through any medicinal steps. I need to see the best way to administer medication for YOUR kitty, because every kitty is different. I will adapt and adjust my caretaking style accordingly.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I'll check with my clients on every entry and exit way to make sure everything is properly locked up and closed off if needed, find out if I'm sitting a zoomer or sneaker that tries to get outside. Check windows. Make sure every cat is accounted for before I leave a clients house.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Holidays aren't really a problem for me. u need a sitter on Christmas? I can probably do that for u, given 2 weeks notice. If u are already a client and this is an emergency drop in or overnight, I will try to work with u.

What is your favorite cat toy?

i'm addicted to buying cat toys on Temu. I've got a vibrating rubber ball that entertains my drama queen until the battery dies. She stalks it all across the room. I also love my Vermont homegrown organic catnip (and so does my tabby!) but idk if that really qualifies as a toy 😊

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

slow movements, gentle voice, let the kitty come to me when he or she feels comfortable, let them smell me and my bag/purse, as cats are always curious who u are and where you've been. Always get background info about anxious kitties from their owners. What to do and especially, what NOT to do

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
