I have always loved cats and understand they all have different purrsinalities and needs. I am an experienced cat owner who is comfortable giving most medication. Growing up in the country I was around animals all the time and took care of horses, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and cats. But cats have always been my favorite! We have 2 of our own, named Disco and Princess Donut. I am a very patient person which comes in handy when dealing with cats. I would also be happy to water plants and bring in mail as well. Currently I live in the Mill Creek/Lynnwood area in Snohomish county and am also willing to drive to Everett. Fluent in Spanish. I’ve been a stay at home mom for 13 years for my son who is now in the 7th grade. Now that he is back in school full time I would love to take care of your pets while you’re at work or on vacation... Al crecer en el campo, estuve rodeado de animales todo el tiempo y cuidé caballos, gallinas, conejos, conejillos de Indias, perros y gatos. ¡Pero los gatos siempre han sido mis favoritos! What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been with Meowtel since 2022, but have always watched my neighbors pets while they’re away.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I really love meeting new cats and getting to know them and their distinct personalities. It is endlessly entertaining for me.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two cats. A black slinky cat named Disco, and a chonky tabby named Princess.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

At the meet and greet, I think it’s important to see how the cats react to them if possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to introduce myself and go over my usual routine for a visit. I send lots of pictures and updates, just to reassure the cat parent.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

When on a visit, I do a walk through to make sure all is well, and that nothing is out of place. If a cat hides and won’t come out, I make sure to do what I call an eyeball check just to make sure they’re ok.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Sometimes. It varies with each holiday.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Laser beam. If not that, string toy on a stick.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I let them come to me. I’ll sit on the floor and talk quietly to them for a bit or just sit near their hiding place and leave treats out if available. It is always so rewarding when a timid cat finally comes to me.

She sent daily updates and pictures which brought invaluable peace of mind while I was out of the country. Jenny was fantastic! I was already out of town when my sitter had a major injury making it impossible for him to handle the assignment. Jenny graciously accepted the 'urgent' request and put me at ease. She went the extra mile to get my house key from the original sitter and visited my furry roomie, Leo, that same day ... and this assignment was even during a holiday! She saved the day and my trip, and provided great care to my Leo. I would rate her more than 5 stars if I could.

It was amazing to have Jenny caring for my three furbabies. She was consistent about sending updates and pictures, in fact, one of my favorite pictures of Jinx (my eldest) came from her. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
