Which is why during my visits, my goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home... Hi, I’m a 38yr old proud cat mom to Abbi, who I brought home at just 8 weeks old. She’s now 11, and she’s truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. After more than a decade of being a cat mom, I know that every cat has their own personality, routines, quirks, and very specific opinions about how things should be done! I will always appreciate my cat sitter for being there for Abbi while I embarked on an analog astronaut mission for 30 days. She gave me peace of mind while I gave back to science.
Which is why during my visits, my goal is to make your cat feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own home. I’ll take time to get to know their personality and follow their normal routine, whether that means playtime, cuddles, treats, fresh food and water, litter box care, or simply sitting nearby and keeping them company. And if your cat is more of a “please admire me from across the room” type, I’m happy to respect their space too!
What sets me apart is that I understand both sides of being a cat parent. I know how difficult it can be to travel and leave your pet behind, and how reassuring it is to have someone you trust checking on them. I’ll treat your cat the way I’d want someone to treat Abbi—with patience, kindness, attention, and plenty of love. I’ll also keep you updated during visits so you can relax knowing your furry family member is doing well.
I’m dependable, communicative, and genuinely excited to meet every cat I have the privilege of caring for. My goal is simple: happy cats, happy parents, and a little more peace of mind while you’re away. 🐱❤️

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do! I have one calico. Her name is Aberdeen "Abbi" named after a city in Scotland. She has been with me through it all for 11 years and has truly shown me what love is, as cheesy at that sounds.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
For me, the most important things are dependability, kindness, and communication. I want to know that the person caring for my cat will show up when they say they will, treat my cat with patience and care, and keep me updated while I’m away. Even a quick photo or “proof of life” goes a long way in giving me peace of mind! I’d recommend looking for someone who takes the time to understand your cat’s personality and routine, communicates clearly, and makes you feel confident that your cat is in good hands.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let them set the pace. I know some cats need time to feel comfortable with a new person, so I never force interaction or expect them to come out of hiding. I’ll spend time nearby, speak softly, and use treats or play if they’re interested. I’m happy to simply keep them company from a distance and make sure their food, water, and litter are taken care of. I think patience and respecting their boundaries go a long way, and I’ll always keep their personality and comfort level in mind during each visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Spokane cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
