About Me:
You can count on me to be highly responsible, reliable, and deeply attentive. I have shared my life with cats for as long as I can remember. Recently, my family said goodbye to our beloved tuxedo boy, Oreo. He was a true "stunt cat" who loved scaling the tops of doors and balancing on the thinnest edges—we miss his big personality every day! Lately, we have been "adopted" by two neighborhood cats who are currently soaking up all of our extra love and attention.
I am highly intuitive when it comes to feline behavior. When I visit, I spend time observing your cat to see what kind of interaction they prefer. If they want to snuggle, we snuggle. If they prefer to play or just watch me from a safe, comfortable distance, that is wonderful too. I am entirely content just being a comforting, respectful presence in their space.

Quality Time: Cuddling, playing, offering treats, or simply keeping your kitty company.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been cat sitting thru Meowtel for several years now and before that was the go-to cat sitter for family and friends who know me and my passion for cats! I’d say I’m an expert.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love cat sitting - first and foremost, because I love cats, and spending time with them brings me great joy to see them happy or excited and to know they are taken care of while their humans are away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Oreo! He’s my stunt cat and loves to race up and down the stairs. He follows me around the house and sniffs me very curiously when I’ve come back from a cat sitting. 😻 We (very sadly) lost Oreo recently. When we are ready, we will adopt a shelter kitty. We also have several neighborhood cats that visit and hang out with us nearly every, Oscar, Oliver, and Tika. They know how much we love them so they just hang out, and have become part of the household too.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
My advice when looking for a new sitter is finding someone that you can communicate well with, that has a good vibe for you and someone in your area makes a lot of sense since weather things happen and if they are close that’s so helpful!! For example, we’ve had I’ve storms and clients I’ve sat for in the past have been stranded out of town but I was able to jump right in to help with the cats and getting heat going, etc at their homes. What a weight off their shoulders!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Safety is huge for me and the cats I sit with. I always walk into a home with my bag or something in front of me in case anyone is planning a surprise escape or trying to pull a runner! After that, every time I am over, I do a quick safety check regarding cooking hazards or appliances, they might jump on and have a lid come down (top load washing machines, for example). I pick up any loose, small strings or rubber bands- anything they could eat or choke on while their human is away.

Ania was lovely to work with from start to finish, and took excellent care of our two adult cats with very different personalities! She was thoughtful in getting information before our trip, and followed up with lots of questions and updates throughout. I especially appreciated the advance notice when her schedule was going to be slightly different, so that we weren't worried about when she'd visit. We would absolutely love to work with her again, and returned home to two happy and well-fed kitties.

Ania was amazing. She came by and met the cats before we left. When we were gone she sent us updates and photos and took perfect care of our boys. Our older guy tends to not warm up to people and he loved her from the moment he met her, which is always a good sign. Will definitely be using her again for our future trips.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.
Vancouver cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!
