My name is Kristy and I was raised a cat person. My parents had cats for my entire life, and my priority day one of moving out was to get my own cat. I still have that cat, her name is Nyx, and I have added to my cat hoard ever since. At the moment my wife and I have six cats, (Nyx, Toaster, Spock, Shuri, Artemis, and Dopey) which is the maximum we want, but cat sitting lets me be around even more cats without adopting them. In my day job I am an operations manager for a non-profit and I work from home so I can be around my cats as much as possible. I like to read and write, and I can usually be found curled up with a cat and a blanket somewhere. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
