What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have owned and cared for cats for 25 years, but have cat sit for friends, co-workers, customers and family for over a decade.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

My favorite thing about any cat sitting opportunity is getting to know more about a kitty and their unique personality! Finding out what makes a cat themselves is always the most beautiful part of making a new kitty friend!

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My favorite cat-sitting reservation I've ever done was with a cat named Tommie who had a very extensive vocabulary, and a tight schedule. He used pet buttons (which inspired me to get some for my cats) to tell me his needs and wants--especially when it was his dinner time!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes I do! Their names are Toulouse and Sipsey. Sipsey is our house panther and Toulouse is our lovely tuxedo torbie!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes, I am usually available during the holidays, and they should be marked as available on my scheduling calendar for your convenience!

What is your favorite cat toy?

My favorite cat toy has got to be Toulouse's catnip teabag. It's his favorite toy to bring with him around the house. It says "Earl Gray" and is hand knit with wool yarn.

Alyssa provided detailed updates on our cat with each visit, providing updates on play activity, the amount of food and water our cat ate, as well as assisting with cleaning litter and providing cuddles to our cat. Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
