What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I cat sit for several families in town several times a year, and I’ve been doing this for around three years now, I believe.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
If the owner doesn’t have a list or notes written down for me for the care of their cats, I take notes so I can reference them. I’m also hyper vigilant about open doors and cats (due to owning several escape artists of my own).
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, actually! I’m almost always in town for major holidays, so I’m usually available during those busy times for cat parents.

Paige was amazing with our little boy, and took such good care of him🥺🩷 we are so glad our boy Tofu also liked her. from the first meeting it was evident she was a cat-lover and attentive to the little friend’s needs. during our time away, she sent frequent updates and live pictures which meant the world to me and my husband, and made us feel relieved that someone was taking good care of our little precious family member. I would totally recommend her if you’re looking for a sitter 🧡😸

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Huntsville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $22.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every time I've had Paige feed my cats, she takes extra time to make sure my kitties aren't too lonely while I'm gone! She will pet them, play with them, and spend time just sitting in the same room so the cats can socialize more with her on their own terms or 'parallel play' in the same room. Both my cats love her, so she is my go-to petsitter when I travel whether it's for only one night or for several weeks
