What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have never done it professionally but have cat sat many cats for friends and family over the years. I know each cat has its own unique personality and it is my job to find a road that leads to their trust.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love getting to know new cats, I love the process of earning each other's trust. It brings me joy that I am filling in the gaps with care, love, and attention on behalf of their owner.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

My cousin and his wife went to Asia for 3 weeks and I agreed to cat sit their 3 cats. One of the cats was a rescue they brought home off the streets of Mexico. For 5 years that cat avoided all visitors to the house, was just very skittish. But then, in week 2, I just let it happen organically and that cat approached me and allowed me to pet her for the first time. That was a lesson in trusting the process and not forcing relations. By the end of that 3rd week that cat and I were spooning for hours on end.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Crystal, my 17 sassy and spoiled rescue diva 💅 I have had her for 7 years and she's the love of my life

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am available 365 days a year to help your kitties! I would never raise my rate on a holiday

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I make minimal and subtle eye contact, speak softly or not at all, get onto the floor and let the baby initiate contact 🥰

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
