My two kitties, whom my partner and I adopted as a bonded pair from SF Animal Control, are more than just pets; they're family, showering me with love and laughter. With their playful antics and comforting purrs, they've taught me the true meaning of joy.
As a graduate music therapy student, my days are filled with spreading love through music. While my passion for music therapy and helping others is boundless, so is my enthusiasm for taking care of cats.
As a Kitten Nursery Volunteer at a local shelter, I had the rewarding opportunity to contribute to the care and well-being of kittens in need... Cats are my ultimate joy! Growing up with these fluffy wonders changed my life, bringing me comfort, happiness, and countless precious memories. Now, I'm blessed with two adorable furballs named Potato and Pancake at home! :)

The volunteer work was the highlight of the week, and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it!
In my world, every day is a melody, and cats add the purrfect harmony. (Even though my cats don't necessarily enjoy my music haha) My flexible schedule allows me to roam around the San Mateo area, and I'm always up for a kitty adventure in different neighborhoods.

Jessie is truly amazing! This was our first time using a service like this, so we were a little nervous, but she made everything so easy and gave us total peace of mind. 🥹 We were out of the country for 12 days, and both of our cats are on special diets. Jessie came by twice a day, followed all their routines, and sent us the cutest photos and videos every day. She really took time playing with them and cleaning up the little messes our naughty babies made 😅 We are just so grateful for her. Our cats adore her and so do we. If you are looking for someone you can truly trust with your fur babies, definitely book Jessie. She is the sweetest!😻

We are so grateful for the wonderful care Jessie provided to our cat while we were away for three weeks. She was incredibly attentive, responsible, and caring. Every day, she sent us lots of photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind and made us feel connected to our kitty even while traveling. Our cat looked so happy, relaxed, and well cared for the entire time. It’s clear Jessie truly loves animals and treats them like their own. I scheduled Jessie for one visit per day on two consecutive days. Then, on the day that I was supposed to return, my airline flight into San Francisco got cancelled because of severe storms, stranding me for 24 hours. I contacted Jessie late Sunday night and asked if she could add a third day of cat-sitting. She responded immediately that it was “no problem”. I was very relieved knowing that she would arrive on Monday morning to attend to my cat. Jessie was excellent in every regard. She took photos, gave me important info, and her 10:15am arrivals every day were like clockwork. It was as close to a purr-fect cat sitting experience as I’ve ever had! Jessie is now my permanent cat-sitter when I’m away from home!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Arcadia cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $33.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet!

Jessie has been SO great to work with! She does everything I ask .. and even more! I think she is a "cat whisperer" as even my biggest "fraidy cat" is calm around her, and she knows how to handle unexpected situations. I come home to a house that looks like I never left, content kitties and have peace of mind while I'm gone with her messages, photos and texts. She even gives me tips on how to work best with my cats. They love her too I'm! I'm so blessed that Jessie cares for my kitties. She's just AWESOME!!

I highly recommend Jessie. She was very flexible with our needs, sent detailed updates with tons of photos to put us at ease. Our fur baby was a big fan too. She also brought in the mail and took the bins in and out for pick-up for us. We won't hesitate to hire her again.

DON't miss my review regarding the May 5th - 9th Reservation as this was just the first leg of a 2 week trip, and this app does not allow that length all in one reservation. Jessie is the VERY BEST kitty sitter ... I highly recommend her!!
