I feel that cats do best in their own homes while their families are away and deserve to be spoiled and treated like the royalty they are. A visit from me includes feeding, fresh water throughout the day, litter box scooping and maintaining a clean environment for the cat(s). Longer visits over 45 minutes and/or overnight stays include trash collection, checking mail and package deliveries, watering plants and any other house cleaning tasks that may be asked of me or need to be done.
The most important part of a visit with your fur baby is spending time with them and spoiling them whether it be offering treats, playtime and/or just a companion while they nap.
Nothing makes me happier than being able to share photos, videos and updates during my visit to let owners know how their pet is doing while they are away. I treat all my cat friends just like I do with my own animals. I ha

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy getting to know each cat and their unique personalities. I love being able to expand my cat knowledge and finding different ways to gain and earn a cat's trust and being able to form that special bond with each of them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I would say to do your research and find a sitter that matches your cat's needs and not just your own. Not every cat is going to take to a new person and it's how that potential sitter reacts and handles your cat's needs and personality that will make the difference in the end.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I usually like to talk to the client through the app to gauge if it will be a good fit before meeting in person and being introduced to the cat(s). I also like to show the parents how their cat reacts to me and how I react to them and discuss any potential issues or concerns that may arise during the cat sitting job.

Mandy was wonderful—professional, kind, and incredibly considerate. She took great care of our cats, checked in with us during her visits, and was even able to give our cat her topical medication. She went above and beyond by taking out the trash with the used kitty litter so we came home to a fresh house! Coordinating keys and the final visit was easy and seamless. We felt completely comfortable knowing our cats were in her care and would happily recommend Mandy to anyone!

I have not needed a cat sitter previously, and had some trepidation about using one, especially because I needed someone last-minute so I could attend out-of-town family events. Mandy saved the day! She was available at the last-minute, accommodated my schedule in our meet-and-greet, took care of my three cats, and left me completely worry-free. She made sure they were fed, and loved, and safe. Mandy made sure my little girl got her medication. She sent me updates and photos, including one of my skittish boy. Mandy is the consummate professional. She was prompt with our meet-and-greet and addressed all potential emergencies, such as knowing where the cat carriers are in the (unlikely) event of having to evacuate. I was able to leave town without a worry about my furbabies. I cannot say enough about Mandy and how wonderful she is. She is knowledgeable about cats, behaviors, and administering medication, and is a loving, wonderful cat sitter.

Honestly, this was the first time we've ever had a sitter, as our cats are nervous around strangers. Mandy showed up on time, made sure they got a meal, plenty of treats, and tons of love & attention. I knew the cats would be fine, and this gave ME peace of mind that they were getting plenty of attention while we were away. We will definitely recommend AND schedule Mandy again in the future! 😻

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Camarillo cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
