However, even Tako got to know and be comfortable with Zain, which was really nice to see. Zain was communicative, and sent us updates and photos, which was also very nice. I'd recommend Zain, and would definitely have him catsit for us again!"

"This was the first time I arranged for a cat sitter. I used Meowtel because an associate of mine does side work as sitter through it. Making reservations was very easy, although there was what I consider a significant bug in the system, where I began the reservation on the MLK Day holiday, which incurred an increased holiday rate, but it was also applied for the entire week. As it turned out, I had to push my schedule out a week and avoided that rate entirely. That said, rescheduling was no hassle, either. Brandy was great. She always messaged me when she arrived and then sent pictures and videos of my boy and her playing with him. This was the first time in my one boy’s life that I was away for more than a couple of nights. Having a reliable person come in to feed and scoop for them eliminated the anxiety of being gone for an extended period."

"Second time having Lori watch our cats and can confirm she is the best. Our cat broke climbed up onto our bookshelf and knocked over a pot with a plant in it. Lori cleaned the entire thing up, put the salvaged pieces in a bag for us to fix if we’d like, and sent pics to show where the plant fell, etc. She also brought in an expensive package for us that would’ve just been sitting out for days otherwise. She does such a thorough job on top of taking great care of our fur babies. Can’t recommend her enough."

From the moment we read her bio, she had such a warm, kind, and almost angelic presence that immediately put us at ease. She cared for our senior cat, Mimi, with incredible patience, gentleness, and genuine love. Mimi isn't the easiest cat to win over—she can be a little intimidating at times! But Luanne took the time to earn her trust. She even seemed excited to have that personal challenge with our Mimi. She occasionally stayed longer than she needed to so Mimi wouldn't feel rushed or alone, gently gave her kisses (despite the very real possibility that Mimi might object! 😂), and even let Mimi smell her lunch (without knowing that I, too, love to do that when at home with Mims) while they spent time together. Those thoughtful little gestures made such a difference, and before long Mimi had warmed up to her. That's pretty much unheard of! Luanne kept us updated throughout our trip, giving us absolute peace of mind. Knowing Mimi was being cared for by someone who treated her with so much compassion allowed us to truly relax while we were away. When we came home, Mimi was happy, content, and clearly well cared for. You can teach someone how to complete pet care tasks, but you can't teach the kind of empathy and genuine love for animals that Luanne naturally has. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and wouldn't hesitate for a second to trust her with Mimi again. I am a huge worrier and our kitty has some medical issues so her I am very particular about her care and making sure everything is *exactly* right. I wrote out a ton of instructions for Hailee and bombarded her with messages and she was sooooo patient and caring. She followed the directions to a T and gave tons of updates and pictures and videos and really let us feel at ease.
