All my life, I have loved cats! And all my life I have lived with a cat - in childhood the family cat, and in adult life my, cat-children. In my house, pets are family! And I will treat your cats with all the respect and affection I give my own...plus a little more because they will be nervous in your absence. I have rescued neighborhood strays, and fostered several cats to adoption. I've also nursed a few of my own babies through chronic health conditions. In short, cats are my friends, and I know how to treat them right :-) Both overnight stays and day visits are possible... All my life, I have loved cats! I prefer to work in central Contra Costa County: Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Martinez, Lafayette and Orinda, but please try me if you live in another location, and I will see what I can do!

When I am not spending time with cats, I can usually be found helping high school students learn math. I have a small business as an educator, tutor and coach. Math is my main subject because I enjoy breaking down something that seems complex and mysterious to students, and putting it in simple every day terms. That said, I tutor a variety of subjects to students of almost any grade level. It's very satisfying to me to help people learn!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
