Raising and taking care of so many cats meant/means I’ve been introduced to a wide array of personalities, from friendly and cuddly to mood or shy... Though I’ve lived with animals my whole life— at both houses we had at least 3 cats and 3 dogs at a time with the occasional hamster, rat, snake, or rabbit—cats have always been my favorite. One of our cats had a litter, and of course, we kept 4 of the 8 (one was the runt, predicted to not live long and he ended up living the longest at a whopping 23lbs).
Raising and taking care of so many cats meant/means I’ve been introduced to a wide array of personalities, from friendly and cuddly to mood or shy. This has helped me with having an abundance of patience, understanding, and adaptability to individual needs.
Not only have I helped with my cats, but I help with other people’s cats as well, doing drop-ins or overnights. I’m a homebody, so aside from a couple hours each day, I’m available and flexible and can hangout with your cats for as long as you need.
I’m a great communicator too, so if an issue were to arise, I will reach out right away. Your cat’s health and well-being is my top priority.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I feel like me and cats want the same thing: food, sleep, and the occasional cuddles. Also, cats are unique and in my opinion, the coolest animal.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I typically like to do a meet-and-greet first. That way you and I can get to know a little bit about each other, and we can see if I’m a good fit for your cat. But I am also open to how you want to go through things. For example, we can do a phone call first, or you and I can meet separately, and then you can introduce me to your pets. I’m open to everything.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I don’t want to say I ignore them because of course, I’m making sure they are taken care of. But I usually don’t make eye contact at first, then sit down and see if your cat will come up to me. If not, I don’t force it. As the cat warms up, I’ll work at their pace.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
