What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have had the pleasure of catsitting once before, for a friend living out of state. She was concerned about her 2 cats feeling lonely without her there, but knew that they would not come out for other sitters besides me. When I asked her what the difference between her friends/family and I, she told me that I was very quiet and did not alarm them as easily as other people. I flew out to her home and greeted her kitties under her bed to let them know I was in their home, serving them food and allowing them to take their time and come out at their own pace. Within 30 minutes they felt comfortable enough with my presence and happily went on to eat and relaxed with me while I rested from my trip on the couch.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 2 cats! Kiki and Lala, named after the sanrio Twin Star characters. They are both longhair tabbies and have been together since kittens. Kiki is a big sweet boy and Lala is the playful smaller sister.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I give timid cats their space and don't force them to interact with me if they are not comfortable. But I also do try and let them know I am there for their convenience and try and take out a toy they love, or treats they eat to help gain their trust.

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
