I am familiar with all different cat personalities. I can medicate pets, give subcutaneous, or intramuscular injections, give insulin, and many other medical needs your kitty(s) may need. What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I know cats are generally cautious of new people so I understand the space and acclimation may be needed in the beginning. I hope to win all of their hearts one meow at a time.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy that someone dependable like me can bring calm and reassurance to pet parents. Sometimes it can be stressful leaving our babies behind.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I am happy to just simply interact with someone’s kitty if that’s all they desire. Some play time is always a plus!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a male cat named Minx and female cat Pita Chip. Pita Chip was a stray who had kittens. She did not trust me and over time I built trust with her and now she is indoor. She refuses to spend much time outside now.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Ensure they are familiar with medical emergencies. Medical emergencies can happen any time and ensuring a licensed trained professional is at hand is the best comfort.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I offer full transparency and trust. I am fairly confident I will be able to meet all of your pets needs.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I ensure all pets are accounted for. I also check for suspicious activity in the household. I like to check locked doors and windows as well as check for anything that could potentially harm your kitties. I may unplug unnecessary appliances such as coffee machines if the client wishes to minimize fire danger.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am generally available during holidays assuming I do not have to work since I work pet emergency. Otherwise I have no problem working on holidays if it is needed.
What is your favorite cat toy?
The lazer light is my favorite toy. I have a second favorite which is the typical cat teaser you. My cats love it.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I go slow and I interact lightly. No loud noises and soft vocal tones are helpful. I would offer treats if they allow the interaction. Everything in the kitties timing.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
