What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
10yrs of XP ranging from one to multiple cats at a time. I also cat sit 5 of my own everyday (lol). Jokes aside —> I pride myself on creating a happy, safe & clean environment during each visit! Includes: - Wet & dry food feeding - Daily pics/updates - Enrichment (treats, playing, petting) - Water refill - Litter box cleaning - Regular cleaning (vacuum, throw-up clean up, any other messes) - Medication administration (if applicable)
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting new cats and seeing how I can bond with them! Nothing makes me happier than 1) knowing that I’ve added value in their life by being with them while they may be missing their parent! In my experience, it makes all the difference in their quality of life when I’ve had a cat sitter who has really cared for them while I’ve been away VS when they’ve been more isolated. Another aspect is 2) ensuring that I’ve cared for them in a way that continues their safety and wellbeing. Personally when I’m away, I find myself stresssing about all the possibilities, so it’s important to me to execute in the way that is being asked!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes — My adult kitties are Finn, Foxy, + Nell! Tora + Kiku are my newest additions! Whenever I tell ppl that I have 5 cats, I do feel like a crazy cat lady (lol), but each of them found me when they needed help and I love them so much :’)
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I always message new clients to decide on the following options to gather info on the upcoming visit: - drop in - in-app messaging Info collected: - food plan - personalities - tendencies (if they wait by the door, etc) - anything else I should be aware of to ensure everything is up to their expectations while away

Yes — If I don’t have the date listed, it’s likely because I’m cautious to accidentally get overbooked on that day via the app. Please message me — it’s very likely that I’m still available :)

Bree was so great with my little fur babies. she followed all the directions I left for her, and came each day to check on them. The light cleaning she did helped so much when I came back I didn’t need to be stressed out about vacuuming or cleaning up litter or spills from the floor. I will definitely be asking for her to help me again when I go on vacation. Thank you Bree!!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Covina cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $37.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
