Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do have two kitties myself, Pawter and Tulip. They are both girls but total opposite of each other. Pawter is a 7-year-old girl who likes to soend most of her days sunbathing, lounging, and judging everyone else in the house. Tulip is 6 years old,l and more playful than Pawter. She likes to do zoomies at 3am and loves to be chased around the house.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
When I meet a new cat parent, I start with a thorough consultation to learn about your kitty’s routine — feeding schedule, litter box preferences, play style, and any medical or behavioral notes. I believe cats thrive when their routines are kept consistent, so I tailor my visits to match what they’re used to at home. During each drop-in, I make sure all essentials are covered (fresh food, water, and a clean litter box), and then spend quality time giving play, cuddles, or calm companionship depending on your cat’s personality. After each visit, I’ll send a detailed update with photos and notes so you always know how your kitty is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep them comfortable, happy, and cared for — as if you’d never left.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am. I travel occasionally but usually not during holidays. My family is in California so I do not need to go anywhere during holidays.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite is the interactive puzzle feeder — it’s enrichment and entertainment rolled into one. As a kitty’s butler, I love serving up playtime that challenges their mind as well as their paws.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
When caring for timid or anxious cats, my first priority is creating a quiet, low-pressure environment where they feel safe. I let them set the pace—giving them plenty of space, moving slowly, and letting them come to me if and when they’re ready. I pay close attention to their body language and respect their boundaries, never forcing interaction. I also stick closely to their usual routines because familiarity can be very comforting for anxious cats. Soft voices, gentle movements, and cozy hiding spots go a long way. Sometimes just quietly sitting nearby, reading or working, helps them realize I’m a safe presence without any pressure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
