What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been a proud cat parent for over 7 years and have experience caring for a wide variety of cats through sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I’ve learned to navigate all kinds of cat personalities from shy, skittish cats to playful, mischievous ones and I’m confident in adjusting to each cat’s unique routine and preferences. I know how to spot subtle signs of stress or discomfort, keep them entertained with interactive play, and provide comfort when they need it. Whether it’s maintaining meal schedules, litter box upkeep, or giving lots of love and attention, I’ve gotten cat care down to a science and truly enjoy making each kitty feel safe and happy while their humans are away.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have two amazing female cats: Tempe, a sassy black cat (named for her slight temper), and Winnie, a sweet Russian Blue (named, of course, after Winnie the Pooh). Having my own cats has given me firsthand experience with everything from daily routines to grooming, vet visits, and understanding cat body language. I love observing their little quirks—like Tempe’s dramatic flair and Winnie’s curious nature—and I bring that same patience and attention to every cat I care for. I also understand the importance of comfort, play, and routine, and know how to create an environment where cats feel safe, loved, and entertained.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

Keeping both the cats and the home safe is my top priority. I make sure all doors and windows are secure, monitor the cats closely to prevent accidents, and follow the owner’s instructions carefully for feeding, litter box maintenance, and medication if needed. I also check in on the home environment to ensure everything stays as it should—plants, appliances, and valuables are safe, and the space remains calm and comfortable for the cats. I provide plenty of attention and enrichment to prevent boredom or stress, and I’m vigilant for any signs of illness or unusual behavior so I can respond promptly. Peace of mind for the owner and a happy, safe experience for the cats are always my goal.

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
