What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

What I enjoy the most about cat sitting is making the little one comfortable and safe while the parents are away. It’s such a priority for them to be stress free and actually having a good time since I always hope for that with my own cat when I go on trips. In addition, it’s been great forming connections with these babies to where they greet me and truly enjoy being with me after the first time that we got to know each other.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have one cat named Luka. He is 6 years old and the most spoiled orange tabby there is. I treat him and my dog as if they were my kids and I think they know it too haha. He is such a character and enjoys being with his mom when I’m home. I could go on and on about him but I do feel like him and his sister are the best thing that happened to me. :)

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I prioritize creating a calm and safe environment where they feel like I am the guest and will do as they say since this is their home. I approach slowly but still allow the cat to come to me first. I use a very soft and gentle voice while offering treats and toys that they love. Patience and consistency is definitely key to help them feel relaxed and ready to be comfortable with me.

These past 7 years have been truly amazing having her help us from one baby to two babies (cats) specially when one of them had a medical issue it was no problem for her. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
