What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

i have had cats in my life my entire life. from my parents cats, to mine in adulthood. i also pet sat for my neighbors when i was a teenager. i am extremely comfortable around cats and other peoples animals.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

i have one all black girlie named ivy. she is two this july. she’s an absolute fireball of a cat. She loves walks on her harness, hunting toys, and balcony time.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

i have no issue dealing with timid or anxious cats. life is scary when your favorite humans are away and there is a stranger in your home. i keep my distance at first and let the cat come to me. talking in a low soothing voice and not chasing the cat and forcing them into anything they are not comfortable. cats are curious creatures and ideally eventually will feel safe enough to say hello.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
