I’m attentive to a cat’s appetite, litter box habits, water intake, energy level, and overall comfort... Hi, I’m Yongzheng! I’m a cat mom and a genuine cat lover. I’ve cared for my own cat for 4 years, and I really enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality. Some cats are playful and social, while others need patience, space, and a gentle approach.
Caring for my own cat has taught me how important routine, observation, and small details can be. I’m attentive to a cat’s appetite, litter box habits, water intake, energy level, and overall comfort. I’ve also helped friends care for their cats, so I’m comfortable following detailed instructions and adjusting to each cat’s needs.
During each visit, I can feed your cat, refresh water, clean the litter box, give treats if allowed, and spend time playing or keeping them company. I’ll also send photo updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your kitty is doing while you’re away.
My goal is to make your cat feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their own home. Whether your cat loves playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I’ll follow their pace and treat them with the same care I give my own cat.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have experience caring for cats through drop-in visits and helping people care for their cats, including kittens, adult cats, and cats with different personalities and breeds. I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully and pay attention to each cat’s routine, comfort, appetite, litter box habits, and behavior. During visits, I provide food, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, companionship, and photo updates.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is seeing cats feel happy, healthy, and relaxed. I love the little moments, like when they finish eating and look satisfied, roll over after playtime, or walk toward me with their tail up. It’s also so sweet when playful cats hop around like little ponies. Spending time with cats and earning their trust makes me really happy.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a female domestic short hair cat. Her name is Marci. She is about six years old. Marci is very playful and affectionate.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Mountain View cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $40.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
