My name is Jennifer and I’m a cat sitter in the Palmdale, Lancaster, Quartz Hill, Santa Clarita and Valencia area! I have been taking care of cats for about 4 years now. I have had experience taking care of my friends’ cats and after some time I decided to adopt two precious kittens of my own. I have had one for almost 3 years and my younger one for 2 years. Even though I am new on this site I absolutely adore cats of all shapes and personalities. I am attentive and caring and have a great sense of cats’ feelings. Regardless if your cat is super friendly or more reserved I will make sure they feel safe and comfortable around me.
I am currently waiting to start nursing school so this is my only job at the moment. That means I have a wide availability and can fit my schedule to work with yours.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I loved taking care of my friends’ cats and they each had different personalities. I have been doing it for four years now and learned a lot before even becoming a cat mom myself. I have taken care of kittens with very strict schedules which was never an issue with me. I have also taken care of a very timid cat who is shy to say hello. I treat all pets as if they are my own and make sure to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have a black cat named Misty who is turning 3 in April and a white calico named Sky who is turning 2 in May. Getting them to become friends was really hard but it turned out so well! Misty would hiss at first but after a week of keeping Sky in a different room Misty slowly started to feel more comfortable with her. Once we decided to let them be in the same room all they did was play and run around the house. It was such a wonderful feeling 🥹
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I would prefer to have as much details on taking care of the cat as possible. If there are any special instructions or a strict schedule I would be more than happy to stick to it. Every cat and cat owner is different and I am here to communicate with you to ensure the best care for your cat.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Palmdale cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $45.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
