I love all animals, but I especially have enjoyed living with and caring for cats all my life. I appreciate every cat for his or her own unique purrsonality and like to get acquainted with them on their terms. Everything I do as a cat sitter is rooted in building mutual trust through love, compassion, respect, honesty, and lots of patience. I have been cat-sitting regularly since 2019. While I frequently get repeat customers, I welcome new kitty clients too! I have enjoyed establishing strong, positive relationships with the kitties I care for so that they feel comfortable and secure with me when their families are away. I obtained my Ph.D. in Psychology (Animal Behavior, Conditioning, and Learning) and often apply training techniques when I work with kitties to make brushing and other treatments as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. I love playing with cats during my visits to give them exercise and prevent boredom. As always, Laurel is truly the purrrrrfect professor! The kitties adore her, even the shy one who always hides when a non-resident human is at the door runs to greet Laurel when she arrives. Want to mention, too, that the last time she kitty sat, we were not able to leave a review. We were out of the country for an extended time and Laurel was unable to cover all the days. Another great Meowtel sitter, Ariel, filled in. Laurel took care of being sure keys were handed off and made herself available to answer any questions Ariel may have had. What a team! Truly appreciate this great service - it has made all the difference in our lives.

Laurel was fantastic! She took a lot of time during the initial visit to take copious notes about the care for our babies. We immediately felt like we were in good hands and that she was serious about providing quality care. We have a 9 year old female Ragdoll and another is a year old Maine Coon. She gave helpful tips for us to use generally for ongoing care and during her visits, she arrived on time, sent videos, and followed every instruction to the letter. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation
and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any
earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation
rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their
Gift Card Balance
if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the
reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50%
of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48
hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and
the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
