I’ve been a life long pet owner, growing up with cats and dogs, and critters alike all living under one roof. I adore black cats, but always stop to pet any cat on my travels since most of them naturally come up to me. My favorite cat influencer is naturally rover_thecat 🐈⬛
I’m fear free shelter certified through the Pasadena Humane Society, which means I’ve gone through 5+ hour training to ensure I can provide animals with a safe and anxiety free environment. I have raised and helped friends with everything from 4 week old kittens to full grown adult cats. My favorite memory is putting my two new kittens to sleep by playing classical piano their first day home - they slept so deeply I thought they wouldn’t wake up 😂

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I have a calm presence and naturally grounded personality, and having over a decade of pet ownership experience, I know how important it is to treat your cat with respect, understand their personality and quirks, their bad habits so I can help keep them out of trouble, and what makes them the most happy and relaxed until they are reunited with you, their favorite human :)
Are you usually available during holidays?
I’m usually available during holidays except for the last two weeks of the year. I work from home and can travel “off season” to avoid crowds, so I can also provide sitting services during typical 9-5 hours.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
In my experience, more skittish kitties need their space and boundaries respected, and be allowed to build trust on their own terms. And sometimes that just means not being seen (my cat Shadow was like that). So in a short amount of time, the best thing to do is give the kitty the ability to perform their eating and bathroom routines without having to deal with my presence if space allows.

Jenn was so sweet with our kitties, and they absolutely loved her - from the moment she arrived for our Meet & Greet! She asked thoughtful questions and was great with all of my notes about all of our kitties and their eccentricities. We have 4 cats and she took time at each visit to make sure each kitty had love, attention, and enrichment. We got cute photos at every update - lots of playtime with our energetic babies and reassurance that our older senior was getting her meals and meds. Our kitties didn’t even seem to miss us by the time we came home - they love their new friend 😻

We cannot recommend Jenn enough! We hired her to care for our two cats (Mango and Kiwi) while we were out of the country, and she was wonderful from start to finish. Jenn was incredibly communicative throughout — she shared photos and videos after every visit and kept us informed on how they were doing, which meant so much while we were away. What really stood out was her patience and knowledge with cats, especially skittish ones. Our cat Mango can be difficult to approach, but he warmed right up to her after just a few visits. She also made sure both cats received their medications on schedule without any issues. Overall we had a fantastic experience and are already looking forward to booking her again. Highly recommend!

Jenn is super reliable and very thorough. She was on time every visit, followed all the instructions perfectly; and she nailed our cat's special diet. Getting a text and cute photos after every visit was the best. She really helped us a lot when we were away. Highly recommend.

Jenn was communicative throughout the sessions. She’ll inform you when she arrives, sends plenty of pics and videos, and let’s you know when she leaves. She was flexible with the initial meet and greet, and also picking up the keys. The house was in good shape. Nothing smelled or was too dirty considering being gone for 2 weeks. She offered to do some light vacuuming to get some of the tracked litter out before the final session. Which was a nice gesture. Would definitely book Jenn again in the future. Glad to have found someone local!

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Pasadena cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $35.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
