Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I do! Thier names are Jean and Scotty and I got them 9 years ago from a shelter. Jean had a tail amputation, she’s on medication for seizures and she also has asthma. She’s quite the empath. Scotty is your typical spooky and loyal black cat; he’s just missing an eye. :)
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I treat the cats and space as if it were my own. I’m very aware of securing any doors or windows so that there’s no possible way for them to get out of the home. I also double check outlets, refrigerator doors, and cabinets with any cleaning supplies to make sure everything is closed up and cannot pose a threat to the fur babies.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let them come to me in thier own time, and I speak in a sweet voice to them. I stay very aware of my body so I don’t make any sudden movements or big movements that they may perceive as threatening. I give them treats, and I stay as consistent as possible in routines so that they know what to expect, which helps them to feel safe.

Nadine is stellar at any of her many priorities. She is a wonderful and caring teacher, doting friend, an amazing cat owner and sitter. She cares about animals (specifically cats) as much as she cares about humans - which is a ton. She has a huge heart and displays kindness and empathy naturally to those around her. She is an excellent choice for a cat sitter because she knows how important other people’s cats are to them and she will take care of them as if they are her own.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
