Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two kitties, a male tabby cat named Toby and a female lynx point simese named Wren. Wren is incredibly playful while Toby is easily stressed, it’s quite the dynamic to manage but we’re a happy family.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

Go with your intuition, many people here are capable of doing the job, but who will leave you feeling the most comfortable while you’re unable to be there for your best friend(s) in person? Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s not! I’m here to help either way.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have a lot of experience with this one, when Wren was a kitten from the streets it took a lot of patience to build trust, and understanding her tendency to hide and where she hid helped us be there for her overall wellbeing and physical health. Toby is anxious and very sensitive, knowing the signs and being there to play without crossing boundaries is important. Clean litter, water, a quiet environment without fast movements, and access to food can go a long way.

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
