What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have over 10 years’ experience caring for kitties. Caring for my neighbors, friends, and family member kitties while they travel or away from home. Having cared for my own kitties, which I have had six at one time, I have also given a feral kitten a loving and safe home after she was caught to ensure she was safe and loved finally earning her trust.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy meeting new cats and experiencing various breeds and personalities.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

One of my most rewarding cat sitting experiences involved gaining the trust of a cat who was having a difficult time with trust. I could not pet him, but I did developed enough trust to play and offer treats.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I currently have three rescue cats: Jaxs (6, from Mexico and needs special attention for separation anxiety), and Lola and Luna, sweet littermates also rescued from Mexico.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

When working with a new cat parent, my typical process focuses on preparation, a gradual introduction, and patience to help both the cat parent and kitty to feel comfortable.

Are you usually available during holidays?

During the winter holidays I am available.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Our Kitties enjoy Catit Design Senses Circuit toys. Our two youngest Kitties enjoy chasing and hitting the ball before they cat nap.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

For timid or anxious cats, I would approach them slowly, let them initiate contact, use treats for positive reinforcement, keep a routine, and avoid sudden noises or forced interaction.

Pamela always sent frequent updates and went above and beyond in taking care of my cats. She was very knowledgeable about caring for cats and clearly treats them with a lot of care and affection. She provided peace of mind that my cats were in good care while I was away. When she met with me and my cats for an initial visit, she was fantastic in setting up a system that would ensure the cats were safe, healthy, and happy. I really can't sing her praises enough! I can also see that my cats approved of her in the update pictures as they looked very happy while under her care.

Pamela did amazing with my kitties! I had specific feeding instructions that she followed very well. My home was super clean upon my return with all cat food dishes done. I got updates about how much each kitty ate and how social they were being too! Pamela went above and beyond by adhering to my kittie’s normal meal times since they have an all wet food diet. Highly recommend!

Cancellation Policy

Cat parents may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a full refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Cat parents will receive a full refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Cat parents will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the cat parent cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
