I love cats for their different individual personalities and for their natural independence but also lovable nature. I have one kitty of my own and couldn't imagine how it would be at home without her. I like to spend my spare time running through Golden Gate Park, making art, and around animals. I tend to take my cat with me when traveling if I can because it makes me sad to think of her at home by herself so I am happ... I love cats for their different individual personalities and for their natural independence but also lovable nature. I have one kitty of my own and couldn't imagine how it would be at home without her. I like to spend my spare time running through Golden Gate Park, making art, and around animals. I tend to take my cat with me when traveling if I can because it makes me sad to think of her at home by herself so I am happy to help relieve some of that feeling for others by cat sitting. I love to cuddle and play with kitty pals but also respect when they want their space. My visits include refilling food and water, cleaning litter boxes and sweeping up, treats, playtime, snuggles, and basic housekeeping such as watering plants and bringing in mail. You will receive photo updates from every visit. I can’t wait to meet you and your kitty!

My cat sitter was nice but I always had to contact her to see how my cat was doing and ask for pictures. In fact I had a lot of anxiety during my whole trip because I was not getting any sort of follow ups until I reached out. The sitter did mention having an issue with the app one of the days but it was the same story at every visit. Maybe I was expecting a little bit more. My previous cat sitter would send me videos, pictures, and occasionally an ***** from my cat letting me know what an amazing day she had. Being in the unknown was not fun.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

San Francisco cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $37.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
