whatever you do, please stay far away from this sitter. I will try to summarize this the best I can. this is a nightmare sitter! Shayna didn’t pay attention during the meet and greet. once we were on our trip she was constantly messaging us asking where things were after it was already clearly explained to her. during the meet and greet Shayna asked my girlfriend 4 times, pestering her to cancel our reservation on meowhotel and to use her own personal website because it would be less expensive for us. My girlfriend turned her down and said we would see how this went first. after Shayna agreed to the hours we requested, the day of the booking Shayna was then telling us she couldn’t do the hours she already had agreed too. We didn’t have time to find another sitter so we were stuck with her. we caught Shayna leaving our home for 4 hours at a time! she also wasn’t staying the full time we agreed to either as she kept leaving way earlier than agreed too. Shayna then told us that it was Shabbat and that she would be turning off her phone and that we wouldn’t be able to reach her accept for emergencies. this wasn’t told to us until we were already on our 2 year anniversary trip. We would have never booked her if she told us that prior to booking. I caught Shayna walking into my home around 3pm the next day when she was supposed to be watching our cats. I didn’t know who was walking into the house yet though because the ring camera just gave me a notification stating someone was walking in. I immediately went to view the camera in my living room only to see Shayna who had just walked through the door. Shayna wasn’t answering any of our messages that day due to “Shabbat”. I had caught Shayna with the TV on in the camera which violates Shabbat rules. that was really irritating because she had been ignoring our texts all day. my camera in the living room made a loud noise and I witnessed Shayna walk over to the camera to then unplug it! this scared my partner and I so we decided to log into my cats pet feeders which also have cameras on them. Shayna had placed coverings over both pet feeder cameras!! We never gave her permission to do this. I had to use the microphone through the cat feeder to tell her to plug my cameras back in and leave the premises immediately. After Shayna got caught in a lie, Shayna changed her bio to say that she did not allow cameras in the house. We knew this a lie because we caught her changing her bio a 2nd time the same night. We also checked her personal website for pet sitting that she gave us which said nothing about no cameras in the house. I took screen shots of her entire website and sent them to the meowhotel chat application to show she was lying. Of course Shayna then went and disabled her webpage so Meowhotel couldn’t see. that night after explaining what had happened in the meowhotel text chats, I received a threat to my personal cell number. it was Shayna. she sent a photo of my partner and I, she sent a photo of my physical address, business LLC and company that she thought I worked for. this is what Shayna’s message stated “Do try contain yourself I would definitely think twice. As for this never need to go father then you made things. Especially the anti-somatic marks that have been sent in and will be shown here and to your place of work if needed, so I would kindly ask for you to back down.” no anti semetic remarks were ever made to this person as I’m Jewish myself. after reporting these threats in the meowhotel application she continued to text me off another phone number sending more threatening texts. I pulled her license plate off my camera outside. I texted her back stating that I have her license plate and that I’m filing a police report on her. she didn’t text back after she realized how much trouble she was in now. My girlfriend is afraid to work alone in my home or go to sleep and I have concerns of my own. DO NOT BOOK THIS SITTER. STAY FAR AWAY!!! MEOWHOTEL HAD TO LAUNCH A FULL INVESTIGATION INTO THIS PERSON DUE TO HER ACTIONS. I’d hope she’s removed off this application for good. I hope that no one ever has to go through what this person put me and my partner through.

Shayna did an amazing job with my cat who liked to hide from her. She found him, gave him his insulin shot and other meds every single day. My house sitter said she could hear Shayna cooing to the cat on each visit. I would definitely hire her again.

Excellent cat and client care! Shayna is a reliable and experienced pet pro! She’s mature, punctual and very kind and considerate! My Blue is very shy and skiddish and Shayna’s reassuring and calm disposition allowed her to feel comfortable enough to come out of hiding after just a couple visits! Shayna was 100 percent reliable and client conscious, she put my nerves and guilt for leaving my girl at ease. She’s also very professional and promptly informs you of arrival and details of the visit, keeping you informed at all times with updates and pics! She’s thoughtful and empathetic of worried cat parents, too, like me. Patience, play time, even mail or packages are picked up. Water is always checked and refreshed, food and the automatic wet feeder is replenished for the next meal, awesome! And she’s familiar with automatic feeders and even the Robot litter box! She’s a trustworthy and efficient cat pro and I’m breathing easy just knowing she’s got my back! So grateful!

Shayna was great, she really knew how to care for my cat Roxy and Roxy was very comfortable with her. Her communication is always on top and keeps me updated on each day

Everything was perfect, food given water changed, treats laid out in various places to find, Cat TV videos turned on, lights and air conditioning monitored… Updates on arrival and departure with pic, and confirmation of Front Door Locked and all good inside. package also picked up. EXCELLENT, cat care service! Peace of mind is priceless, thanks Shayna!

Shayna went above and beyond and cleaned and took out the trash after the last visit. All was good.
