I frequently watch my friends' cats and love getting to hang out with these furry balls of joy. Cat sitting allows me to get all the kitty love I want while I can't have any of my own... I grew up with cats and while I don't currently have any of my own, I love to watch my friend's kitties and get kitty cuddles whenever I can. I have pet sit for dogs and cats for four years off and on, and love being able to give these adorable creatures love and attention. I love getting to know each cat's unique personality, and figuring out how best to keep them happy and healthy. Whether your cat loves to play with teaser wands, laser pointers, or prefers a good cuddle, I'll be there to give them all the love and attention they deserve.
I frequently watch my friends' cats and love getting to hang out with these furry balls of joy. Cat sitting allows me to get all the kitty love I want while I can't have any of my own. So really, you're doing me a favor!
I'm excited to meet your furry family! Of course, I'd be happy to also check on houseplants, mail, or other odds and ends you might need while you're out of town. I have experience administering topical and oral medication to your kitties, and am familiar with kitties with special diets and tummy issues.
When I'm not pet sitting, I am a bartender and actor, so my schedule is fairly flexible for check ins. I'm incredibly reliable and communicative, and get along with everyone. I rarely travel for the holidays, so if you need your cats watched while you're on vacation, I'm your sitter! Enjoy your trip while I take care of the kitties, and I'll send plenty of kitty photos to keep you company.
In terms of COVID, I am fully vaccinated with two boosters, and wear a mask at work and in public spaces. I'm happy to test or mask inside your home in you'd like!

We have used Zoo several times to watch our kitties. Our boys are always to happy and content when we get home. Zoo does such a great job at making our rescue kitties feel safe and secure. Reilly doesn't warm up to other people like he does with Zoo. And Zoo always sends the cutest pictures of them. Zoo makes it easy to go away because when know they are being well taken care of.

This is our third time having Zoo watch our cats. Zoo went above and beyond for us once again. Due to the weather we had to change our plans last minute. Zoo was more than willing to accommodate us. When we came home our cats were happy and had been well taken care of. Our youngest cat Reilly is a rescue kitty and is very shy. Zoo is the first person that Reilly has let within 5 ft of him. We feel so confident leaving our cats to go on vacation when Zoo is here to take care of them.

Zoo was amazing. We had to change plans at last minute and Zoo was most accommodating. When we got home the cats were very happy and well taken care of. We have a rescue cat that is very shy but he actually warmed up to Zoo, though Zoo might not have thought so. Our Reilly has only been around a couple of people prior to Zoo. Zoo gave up daily updates and pictures. We would definitely use Zoo again and would highly recommended.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Sylmar cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $35.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
