With over 12 years of hands on pet care experience, I’ve had the joy of looking after a variety of animals including our beloved pug, Rex (who lived to the age of 13), several bunnies, a gecko, and now my pride and joy, two beautiful Ragdoll cats and one spirited orange tabby who has stolen my heart (and a few snacks!).
I also volunteer with a local cat rescue, which has deepened my love and understanding of feline behavior and care. Friends and family have officially dubbed me the “crazy cat lady” and honestly, I wear that title proudly! 😻 They say I’m in my cat mom era and they’re absolutely right... On a personal note, I’ve been married for 24 wonderful years and am a proud mom to four amazing sons, ages 15 to 22. My home is always full of love and fur!
As a sitter, I offer in home visits for feeding, playtime, and companionship, as well as overnight in home sitting. I’m reliable, attentive, and experienced in caring for cats with a range of personalities and needs, from playful kittens to shy, skittish cats like my own tabby. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications if needed.
I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family members. When your cats are with me, they’re treated like part of the family, with lots of love, patience, and gentle care.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality—whether they’re playful, shy, curious, or cuddly. It’s rewarding to build trust with them and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while their humans are away. I also enjoy the peaceful moments: a quiet purr, a cozy curl up, or a slow blink that says, “I trust you.” Every visit is a chance to connect and care for them like they’re my own.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I’m a proud cat parent to three kitties! Larry, our shy orange tabby, prefers a calm vibe and loves affection until he doesn’t 😹. Then there are my 7 month old Ragdoll siblings, Dash and Violet, energetic, cuddly, and always up for a wrestling match or a snuggle. I’m used to all kinds of feline personalities and love them all!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Timid or anxious cats? No problem! 😺 I give them space, move slowly, and let trust build on their terms. With patience (and maybe a treat or two), even the shyest kitties start to feel safe and seen. 🐾

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Winchester cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
